It is intended that two male and two female

attendants should travel with these patients, one of whom

will be entirely in charge of Mrs. Eastman, whose husband

has stated his intention of making provision for her

accommodation on arrival in England. The others are un-

provided for.

My reasons for removing these patients from the Colony by this opportunity are that their health is very adversely affected in this climate and the accommoda-

tion in the local asylum is, as has been explained in previous correspondence, inadequate and unsuitable

for the detention of patients for long periods.

.

I have the honour to be,

My Lord,

Your Lordship's most obedient,

humble servant,

Chastevem

Officer Administering the Government.
